The Semiotics of the Bible
There is much symbolism within the bible that deserves careful consideration not only from a theosophical perspective but from the views and theories of semiotics, linguistics, literature, mythology, and philosophy. The tendency to either entirely endorse this book as the word of God or a creation of man's mind forgets the gray area that lies between these two polar opposites. Whereas the truth certainly lies--perhaps best expressed in deconstructive thought--as as a movable truth that is fueled by experience and contemplation along with historical attitudes. This blog will look at such concerns. Its objective is not so much as to reach tautological conclusions but see how this book expresses and mirrors the unalterability of a finite conclusion while remaining eminently useful.
